2022 Credit Congress Scholarships Available

Updated: Dec 7, 2021

The NACM Heartland Board of Directors is again offering scholarships to Heartland members to encourage participation in Credit Congress. The successful NACM Heartland Scholarship applicant is working towards improving their standing as a credit professional. Points are awards for activities such as education, including self-study courses, work towards a professional designation. The scholarship covers registration for Credit Congress.

The Board also awards a Heartland Leadership Award that also provides a full-delegate registration to the 2022 Credit Congress. This award was created to honor the NACM Heartland member who goes above and beyond professionally. To be recognized for this award, the nominee must be a NACM Heartland member in good standing and have worked in the credit industry at least five years. The recognition comes with a paid full-delegate registration at the coming year’s Credit Congress and Expo.

A qualified nominee will be recommended by someone within their organization, a fellow NACM Heartland member, or by a member of the NACM Heartland Board of Directors. Recommendations may include, but not limited to examples of:

  • Long-time commitment to the upholding the standards of the credit industry.

  • Leadership such as mentorship, successfully leading a credit initiative, etc.

  • Extraordinary commitment to education. This goes beyond achieving designations, but participation in webinars, events, etc.

  • One-time event worthy of recognition (innovative collection strategies, revising credit policies that created efficiencies, etc.)

The deadline to apply for both scholarships is Friday, December 31 at the close of business. To get an official application, contact Maggie at maggie@nacmheartland.com.
