Paul Bachman

Corporate Economist | Salt River Project

Paul Bachman is the sole Corporate Economist at Salt River Project (SRP). Mr. Bachman focuses on providing valuable economic insights and trends to SRP’s Board and Council, executives, and senior leadership. Through a regular cadence of reports, memos, and presentations, Mr. Bachman shares key economic shifts which helps inform SRP’s decision making as it relates to their operations and customers. Mr. Bachman’s external network of economic experts and resources has furthered elevated his stature within SRP and he is often sought for his perspective on various projects and initiatives.

Before joining SRP, Mr. Bachman was the Director of Research at The Beacon Hill Institute, where he spearheaded research projects, authored influential papers on state and national tax and labor policies, and presented annual state tax revenue forecasts to the Massachusetts Joint Legislative Committee for Ways and Means
